** NOTE ** Not an actual reverse light replacement; this product is an overlay vinyl tint that tints the rear reverse light by sticking onto the tail light housing surface that covers the reverse light, tinting it to a color of your choosing.

How to Install

How to Install 2026+ Prelude Rear Tail Light Reverse Light:

For Best Results
Tools Needed: Heat gun or blow dryer, padded glove or felt-tip squeegee

Step-by-Step Installation:

Rinse the entire tail light reverse light surface with 70% isopropyl alcohol or water/soap to remove all debris before application.
Dry the rear reverse light surface completely to ensure there is no dust or residue left on the surface or in the crevices.
Begin either on the Driver's Side or the Passenger's rear reverse light. Align the side that is closest to the middle of the rear bumper, taking caution to align the top of the overlay with the top of the reverse light surrounding line. Ensure both the top and bottom of the reverse light clear portion are covered with the tint.
Once you have aligned the overlay at the innermost edge, the rest will fall into place. If it does not, you can guide the overlay slowly by laying it and matching the edges of the reverse light till the clear is covered entirely.
Begin applying the overlay by using your finger or a felt-tip squeegee in a left-to-right motion, moving towards one side to get a uniform lay while pushing bubbles towards one opened edge.
Continue laying the overlay till it is completely smoothed down and matches the clear outline of the reverse light. (REFER TO PRODUCT PICTURES FOR ACCURATE PLACEMENT)
After laying the flat surface, adjustments may be needed depending on how you install.
Once everything is laid out to your desired outcome, follow the steps below to ensure longevity and adhesion.
Post-heat the vinyl: Use a heat gun or blow dryer to remove small bubbles and activate the adhesive for stronger bonding.
If bubbles remain, press firmly with your finger or squeegee and swipe them out toward the closest edge.
If you make a mistake, gently peel off the overlay right away and reapply. Add light heat to remove wrinkles.
Important: Dark Smoke, Light Smoke, and Blue include a PET liner that must be removed after installation. JDM Yellow may have it as well; please contact us if you are unsure.

📌 Reminder: Always post-heat the vinyl after installation. This activates the glue and ensures maximum adhesion.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
