How to Install Headlight DRL Daytime Running Light Tint and Eye-lid Amber Delete Pre-Cut Overlay for 2019-2025 RAV4

For Best Results
Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee

1. Rinse / Soap your headlight to get rid of debris before application.
2. Open your hood for an easier install.
3. Peel off the DRL from the backing and align the inner edge where the headlight meets the middle of the bumper.
4. Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until the desired placement has been met.
5. Once the inner curve is aligned, make sure the top portion of the headlight DRL aligns to the top edge of the headlight that rounds up towards the top of the headlight, you may also allow it to wrap above the curve of the headlight but make sure to post-heat it after to ensure it sticks.
6. Once the top and inner portion of the DRL (Facing the middle of the bumper) are aligned, tack down that edge, and use your free hand to guide where the overlay will sit. FOLLOW the headlight curve and the inner black outline. The inner black outline may not match, depending on where you stand while installing, but it will be very close to the inside non-drl portion of the headlight.
7. Once laid and bubbles pushed out the DRL edge that points toward the fender should sit right at the edge of the DRL ending or 1/4-1/2 inches past it depending on how you installed the overlay.
8. Once the DRL is laid, peel off the AMBER DELETE with EYELID.
9. Align the point where the headlight meets the fender. The top of the eyelid near the hood should be aligned next to the first groove on your headlight, which is closest to you (perpendicular to the hood), just before the groove drops down towards the engine bay.
10. Lay the top portion of the headlight amber delete with the eye-lid down first. Follow the grooves on the headlight, taking note the edge that touches the DRL should sit flush with it or a bit over the DRL. This method will allow it to stick better and be more flush in the overall appearance. Once the top portion of the amber delete with eye-lid is aligned, pull down the amber delete and align it with the outside of the headlight that touches the fender. Make sure the overlay edge follows the path of the headlight before fully laying the overlay onto the amber portion. Take note of the inner side of the amber delete that points toward the DRL and should wrap over the DRL to ensure tackiness.
11. Make sure the inner part of the amber delete sits right next to or slightly covers the edge or close to the edge of the DRL/ daytime running lights.
12. Once the desired placement is met and aligned, the rest should fall into place.
13. Best practice is to use one hand to lay the overlay down in a swiping motion up and down, slowly as you reach the end of the overlay while you use your free hand to guide the path of the overlay all the same time pushing the bubbles towards the closest edge. 
14. Once laid the rest of the overlay should fall into place.
15. Once the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESION
16. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion
17. If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge
18. If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.
19. ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness.
20. NOTE:  Gloss Black portion of the AMBER DELETE WITH EYELID has a PET LINER, which must be peeled off after install for a complete super gloss finish.
