🛠️How to Install 2024+ Honda Prologue Headlight DRL Tint:

For Best Results
Tools Needed: Heat gun or blow dryer, padded glove or felt-tip squeegee

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Rinse / Soap or use 70% Isopropryl Alcohol Spray on your Headlights DRL and Amber portion of your headlights surface to get rid of dust and debris.
   
2. Wipe dry and make sure no loose threads are left on the surface.
3. Start with DRL Tint
   • Position the inside colored tint to sit above the DRL and next to the end of the DRL before it reaches the amber. There will be a line/groove just after the amber. Refer to the pictures on the product for placement.
   • The black portion that surrounds the tint will be sitting above the clear of the headlight, whereas the inside colored top portion of the tint will lie flush with the clear edge outline before it rounds into the black surround outline of the headlight.
   • The bottom of the DRL tint should not go past the black portion that houses the actual DRL inside the headlight; it should match it or slightly be above it. Refer to the pictures on the product for placement.
     
   • You can check by making sure no white light passes through the DRL Overlay by looking from the top down.
   • Once aligned, begin from the line/groove and lay the overlay slowly towards the middle of the front bumper.
   • As you lay out the DRL tint onto the headlight, use one hand to smoothly lay the overlay section by section while pushing out the bubbles to the nearest edge. While the free hand  (other hand) guides the placement of the overlay.
   • Once aligned and desired placement has been met start with STEP 5 BELOW.
4. Start with Amber Black Out
   • The amber delete will align with the drl tint.
   • Make sure, as you align it, the top goes slightly over the clear and into the black outline portion of the headlight. This ensures optimal coverage of any amber light passing through; however, there still may be some near the bottom of the amber black out that shows the amber color when lit.
   • Tack down one edge and work your way towards the bottom of the amber delete.
   • One hand is smoothing out the overlay section by section, moving from the top of the amber to the bottom of the amber, as the other hand (free hand) is guiding the placement of the overlay.
   • Once placement has been met, please start with STEP 5 BELOW.
5. Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until the desired placement has been met.
6. Lay the overlay and adjust until the desired placement is met.
7. Once the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW FOR BEST ADHESION.
8. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion.
   
9. If there are bubbles, make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge, or use a squeegee and slightly push till the bubbles are removed.
10. If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles. Heat up the overlay till the wrinkles are gone and wait till it cools to reapply.
11. Once you have reached your desired placement and everything looks great...** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT**(heat up the overlay to a hot but not scalding temperature to the touch) the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay, which will enhance tackiness.

📌 Reminder: Always post-heat the vinyl after installation. This activates the glue and ensures maximum adhesion. 

📌2nd Reminder: Blackout Amber deletes have a thin plastic sheet that needs to be removed after post-heating.
