  This product is an overlay that sticks onto the existing headlight housing, which covers the amber from the outside, offering a smoked, light smoked, or blacked-out finish.

🛠️How to Install:

For Best Results
Tools Needed: Heat gun or blow dryer, padded glove or felt-tip squeegee (not required)

Step-by-Step Installation PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALL:

1. Rinse the amber reflector headlight housing surface area with soap and water, or spray with 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove all debris before application.

2. Dry the area before installation, removing all dust / debris for an easier install.

3. Start with either the driver's-side or the passenger-side headlight. Peel off the overlay and align the curve of the overlay that goes into the headlight projector beams right at the clear line that runs off the DRL and down into the side of the bumper / top half of the headlight. There will be a clear line right before the headlight drop into the lower portion of the bumper.

4. Tack down the curve you are aligning at the clear line or slightly 1mm before it, then make sure the bottom of the overlay runs along the bottom of the headlight, do not let it touch the foam that runs along the fender - it must be on the headlight housing itself. Begin laying the overlay from the curve swiping from the top of he overlay towards the bottom of the overlay in a up to down motion moving from curve to the end of the tail.
   
   
5. The rest of the overlay will fall into place as the bottom is aligned, use your free hand to hold and guide the overlay as you are laying in step 4. Once you get to the end of the tail light and desired placement has been met follow step 6 carefully.
   

6. Once everything is aligned, the rest should fall into place. Remember when applying the overlay, you can use your finger or a felt-tip squeegee in an up and down motion, pushing bubbles toward the nearest edge. Stretching may be required if you do not lay it on properly.
   

7. Post-heat the vinyl: Use a heat gun or blow dryer to remove small bubbles and activate the adhesive for stronger bonding 

8. If bubbles remain, press firmly with your finger or squeegee and swipe them out toward the closest edge.

9. If you make a mistake, gently peel off the overlay right away and reapply. Add light heat to remove wrinkles.

10. Important: Light Smoke and Gloss Black overlays include a PET liner that must be removed after installation. Dark Smoke may also include a PET liner. If you are unsure, please contact us.

📌 Reminder: Always post-heat the vinyl after installation. This activates the glue and ensures maximum adhesion.
