How to Install Headlight Amber Delete Pre-cut Overlay Smoked Tint for 2019-2025 RAV4

For Best Results
Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee

1. Rinse / Soap your headlight amber area to get rid of debris before application.
2. Open your hood for an easier install.
3. Peel off amber delete tint one at a time.
4. Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until desired placement has been met.
5. Start at the top of the headlight that is above the curvature of the amber.
6. There will be a small groove on top of the headlight somewhat perpendicular to the hood when the hood is closed. This small groove is a line that drops downward towards the inner headlight. Align the overlay right before the downward drop and the pointed edge of the top should match or close to the edge that is pointing toward the fender.
7. Lay the top portion down first then align the longer side of the overlay onto the amber delete, the outside of the amber delete that points away from the headlight should match or closely match the headlight shape that is facing toward the fender / wheel well.
8. The piece is made a bit larger to allow more coverage around the amber if you are looking from different angles.
9. Make sure the inner part of the amber delete sits right next to the edge or close to the edge of the DRL/ daytime running lights.
10. Once desired placement is met and aligned, the rest should fall into place.
11. Best practice is use one hand to lay the overlay down in a swiping motion up and down, slowly as you reach the end of the overlay while you use your free hand to guide the path of the overlay all the same time pushing the bubbles towards closest edge. 
    
12. Once laid the rest of the overlay should fall into place.
    
13. Once the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESION
14. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion
15. If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge
16. If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.
17. ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness.
18. NOTE:  Gloss Black and Light Smoke has PET liner, which must be peeled off after install for a complete super gloss finish.
