  This product is an overlay that sticks onto the existing tail light housing, offering a smoked or light-smoked finish that complements the rear of the Sentra.

🛠️How to Install:

For Best Results a PROFESSIONAL MAY BE RECOMMENDED TO INSTALL
Tools Needed: Heat gun or blow dryer, padded glove or felt-tip squeegee (not required)

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Rinse the entire rear tail light housing surface area with soap and water, or spray with 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove all debris before application.

2. Dry the entire rear tail light housing surface completely to ensure there is no dust or residue left on the surface or crevices in between the tail light and trunk.

3. Starting on Trunk Running Brake Lights and Reverse Lights:

   1. Peel the Top running brake lights and align them with the edge of the trunk/tail light housing.
      1. Tack down the edge and adjust till it matches the line, then with your free hand, guide the top overlay with the edge of the top of the brake light that sits just below the black outline of the tail light.
      2. As your guiding hand that holds the overlay adjust the placement, your other free hand will begin laying the overlay onto the surface, moving up and down from the outer trunk towards the middle. laying the overlay flat until the end of the overlay meets the 2nd " \ " on driver's side or "/ " on the passenger side.
   2. Peel the Reverse lights:
      1. Same as step 1 of the running brake lights- align the overlay at the edge of the tail light that runs along the trunk.
      2. Once tacked down, use your guiding hand to guide the overlay. Ensure the top of the overlay matches that of the bottom of the Running Brake Light, as it will be PIECED TOGETHER.
      3. Adjust to the desired placement, ensuring the overlay is smoothed down and flat against the surface (follow step 5 for better technique).
   3. When the desired placement has been met, and there are no bubbles. Please follow step 6.
4. Starting with Brake Light, Turn Signal, and Rear Reflector Tail Light Overlay
   1. Peel of Rear Reflector Tail Light Overlay
      1.  Align the side of the overlay that points towards the front of the bumper with the edge of the clear housing just before the black outline.
      2. Make sure the top and bottom of the overlay cover the clear portion that covers the red reflector and the overlay should sit flush with the black outline that surrounds the taillight.
      3. Once the desired placement is met, smooth out all bubbles and ensure the overlay is sitting flat against the surface (follow step 5 for better technique).
   2. Peel off Brake light (HEAT GUN MAY BE REQUIRED)
      1. Start at the edge of the taillight that meets the trunk- align the overlay edge with the edge of the taillight and tack it down.
      2. Use your other hand to guide the placement of the overlay, ensuring the top of the overlay always meets the black outline (this will ensure all overlays sit correctly and piece together)
      3. Lay the overlay on the flat portion and add light heat to the area that will start to curve into the (red reflector overlay that was laid already). The heat will allow it to stretch slightly and conform better to the surface curvature. Make sure you are laying the overlay down and smoothing it with your fingers in an up and down motion from inner to outer (toward the reflector).
   3. Peel off Turn Signal Overlay (HEAT GUN MAY BE REQUIRED)
      1. Start at the edge of the taillight, the edge that meets the trunk. Tack down the edge and use your other hand to guide the overlay onto the surface, ensuring the top of the overlay meets the bottom of the Brake light overlay.
      2. Smooth down the overlay until you get to the slight curve that curves into the reflector area. Heat may be needed, but not necessary if smoothed and curved with a bit of grit. The overlay should meet the black outline as you lay the overlay and curve it into the reflector area.
      3. Once placement is met, take heed to smooth down (finger moving up and down towards the end of the overlay) the entire overlay and pushing any bubbles to the closest edge.
   4. When the desired placement has been met, and there are no bubbles. Please follow step 6. 
      

5. Once everything is aligned, the rest should fall into place. Remember when applying the overlay, you can use your finger or a felt-tip squeegee in an up and down motion, pushing bubbles toward the nearest edge. Stretching may be required if you do not lay it on properly.
   

6. Post-heat the vinyl: Use a heat gun or blow dryer to remove small bubbles and activate the adhesive for stronger bonding 

7. If bubbles remain, press firmly with your finger or squeegee and swipe them out toward the closest edge.

8. If you make a mistake, gently peel off the overlay right away and reapply. Add light heat to remove wrinkles.

9. Important: Light Smoke and Gloss Black overlays include a PET liner that must be removed after installation. Dark Smoke may also include a PET liner. If you are unsure, please contact us.

📌 Reminder: Always post-heat the vinyl after installation. This activates the glue and ensures maximum adhesion.
