  This product is an overlay that attaches to the existing rear bumper gun metal chrome surface. Offering a blackout or a multitude of colors for a finish that shouts your personality and style.

🛠️How to Install:

For Best Results
Tools Needed: Heat gun or blow dryer, padded glove or felt-tip squeegee 

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Rinse the entire rear bumper gun metal chrome trim with 70% isopropyl alcohol or water / soap.

2. Dry the surface completely to ensure there is no dust or residue on the surface or in the crevices.
   

3. Peel off either the driver or passenger side gun metal chrome delete and align the edge that sits away from the middle of the bumper. 
   
4. Once aligned and tacked down, adjust the overlay to the desired placement. Use your free hand to pull slightly and guide the overlay placement as your other hand is smoothing down the overlay onto the gun metal chrome surface. Ensure when you get to the curve of the chrome where the bumper rounds towards the middle you slightly pull the overlay and "glass it out" so that it does not wrinkle when you lay it onto the surface. 
   
   
5. The overlay will cover all the gun metal chrome, if you are unsure of placement, match the top of the overlay with the top of the gun metal chrome and the rest should fall into place.
   
   
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the other side of the gun metal chrome delete.
   
   
7. After installing both sides, move to the middle portion of the chrome delete. Remove the overly and align one edge of either the left or right side. Once aligned, the rest should fall into place. Adjust to your desired placement as you lay the overlay on - smoothing it down up and down from either the left to right or vice versa. (REFER TO PRODUCT PICTURES FOR ACCURATE PLACEMENT)
   
   

8. Once everything is laid out to your desired outcome, follow the steps below to ensure longevity and adhesion.

9. Post-heat the vinyl: Use a heat gun or blow dryer to remove small bubbles and activate the adhesive for stronger bonding.

10. If bubbles remain, press firmly with your finger or squeegee and swipe them out toward the closest edge.

11. If you make a mistake, gently peel off the overlay right away and reapply. Add light heat to remove wrinkles.

12. Important: Light Smoke and Gloss Black overlays include a PET liner that must be removed after installation. Dark Smoke may also include a PET liner. If you are unsure, please contact us.

📌 Reminder: Always post-heat the vinyl after installation. This activates the glue and ensures maximum adhesion.
