• ** NOTE ** Not Actual DRL REPLACEMENT, this product is an overlay vinyl tint that sticks onto the housing of your headlight. PLEASE NOTE, at different angles you may still see the white DRL / amber DRL when the DRL's are lit. However when the headlights/ DRL are not on, the tint color will still be visible.

🛠️How to Install:

For Best Results
Tools Needed: Heat gun or blow dryer, padded glove or felt-tip squeegee

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Rinse / Soap or use 70% Isopropryl Alcohol Spray on your headlight housing surface to get rid of dust and debris.
   
2. Wipe dry and make sure no loose threads are left on the surface.
3. It may be easier to turn on your DRL to install the overlay to ensure 
4. Peel the headlight DRL tint - start on driver or passenger side.
   1. Depending on which you choose align the inner portion of the DRL with the corner of the bumper that goes into the Headlight. This corner " < ".
      1. Once aligned, the overlay should fall into place.
      2. Work on laying the top portion of the DRL that is closer to the hood.
      3. Use one hand to guide the overlay as you lay the overlay down onto the surface with your other hand.
      4. Ensure the overlay is slightly above the black outline of the headlight by 1-2mm, as this will provide the most coverage of the DRL light.
      5. The bottom portion of the top tint should match up with the bumper edge that lays onto the headlight DRL.
      6. The end point of the top tint (area pointing toward the T emblem will go into the black outline to ensure proper coverage of the DRL light.
   2. Bottom portion of the DRL.
      1. The Bottom DRL tint will have a portion of it be hanging or stuck to the bumper - LEAVE this area for last until the flat portion is laid onto the headlight.
      2. Use your free hand to guide the as your other hand will lay the tint by swiping the overlay left to right or vice versa till the overlay flat portion is laid according to the DRL shape.
         1. *NOTE* FROM a direct side view - the drl original color will STILL show whether it is amber or white. Any further coverage of the drl will block the headlight bulbs visibility. Please see attached photos of DRL placement coverage for the camry.
      3. As you guide the overlay towards the bottom of the drl it should match up with the clear or be slightly over by 2 mm to ensure full coverage of DRL.
      4. Once the flat portion is laid, use a heat gun or blow dryer to heat up the portion that is semi hanging onto the bumper.
      5. Heat it up till you see the wrinkles slight disappear and the vinyl becoming more malleable.
      6. Use a felt-tip squeegee and slowly push the overlay into the crevice between the headlight and the bumper plastic portion that looks like this "<".
      7. It should lay flat into the crevice and any extra hang use your squeegee to trace the top of the headlight to ensure the vinyl lays flat onto the headlight crevice area.
5. Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until the desired placement has been met.
   
6. Lay the overlay and adjust until the desired placement is met.
7. Once the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESION.
8. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion.
   
9. If there are bubbles, make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge.
10. If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.
11. ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay, which will enhance tackiness.

📌 Reminder: Always post-heat the vinyl after installation. This activates the glue and ensures maximum adhesion.
