How to Install Front Bumper Vent Accent Pin-stripe Pre-Cut Overlay for 2024+ Elantra

For Best Results

Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee

1. Rinse / Soap your front bumper vent accents of any dirt and debris prior to application, make sure to let dry prior to install.
2. Peel off the longer Vent accent pinstripe
3. Align the pin-stripe on the longer accent (flatter edge of accent that faces toward you). Make sure the curved pointed edge is aligned with the curved pointed edge of the accent as well.
4. Once that portion is laid and tacked down to your desired placement, use your free hand and guide how the overlay will flow with the vent accent.
5. The pin-stripe should fall into place as long as it is aligned on the vent accent pin evenly.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the next 2 pin-stripes.
7. Once laid you can use your finger to push down the excess and wrap it over the edges. It is best to heat up the overlay so the edges that are not fully adhered yet become more flexible due to the heat.
   
8. Using a squeegee or just your finger, lay the overlay with one finger and the other hand guiding the overlay down onto the fang.
9. Push any bubbles out toward the nearest edge as you lay the pinstripe down.
10. Swipe left and right gradually to reduce bubbles
11. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion
12. If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge
13. If you mess up, you can peel it off right away, but slowly, then add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.
14. For the Best application, use water underneath and squeegee out the water once the desired placement is met. (This Method only works if the backing has Oracle on it, But for a smaller SURFACE area, water is not be needed)
