Lightly tack that section down, then begin laying the middle of the overlay onto the lens.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSmooth the vinyl in a circular motion, starting from the center of the fog light and slowly working your way outward toward the surrounding housing.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply a small amount of heat for about 1–2 seconds to make the vinyl more pliable. You should see it begin to slightly conform to the shape of the fog light lens.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDo not lay the entire overlay onto the lens at once. Continue smoothing it down gradually as you work outward. Laying it down too quickly can trap excess material and cause wrinkles.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou may notice that the overlay is slightly larger than the visible opening around the fog light. This is intentional. The excess vinyl should be carefully tucked into the crevice between the fog light lens and the surrounding housing.
